It isn't your nose. It's the pads your glasses came with.

Stock nose pads are smooth, hard and flat. The moment your skin warms up, they have nothing to hold on to.

Sweat and oil turn them into a slide

A smooth surface on a film of sweat is a slide. That's why they slip most in summer, at the gym, or after a long day.

Hard plastic digging into your bridge

Stock pads are rigid. Hours later that's the red dents, the sore spot, and the marks that stay when you take your glasses off.

The optician fix doesn't last

Tightening the arms works for a week. Then the acetate relaxes, and you're pushing your glasses up 40 times a day again.

Why smooth pads slide and Sepili pads don't

Smooth silicone pad

✕  Sweat has nowhere to go

A smooth pad sits on a continuous layer of sweat and oil, like a tyre with no tread on a wet road. Once your skin warms up, it goes.

Sepili Air Cushion Grip

✓  Hundreds of micro-domes, sweat channels out

Hundreds of soft micro-domes press into your skin while sweat and oil drain through the gaps between them. Tread on a wet road. The domes are soft silicone, so there's nothing hard to leave a mark.

The real thing, magnified: 16 mm long, 7 mm wide, 0.6 mm thin. Every dot is a micro-dome.

The adhesive bonds to the frame, never to your skin, and peels off clean when you change pads.

Left: a smooth pad, nothing for sweat to escape through.

Right: Sepili micro-domes, channels between every dome.

On in 30 seconds. Off without a trace.

No tools, no glue, no optician. Just make sure the frame is clean and dry.

Step 1, 10 seconds

Clean the spot

Wipe the inside of the bridge with the alcohol pad in your pack. Skin oil is the only thing that can stop the adhesive from bonding.

Step 2, 10 seconds

Peel and place

Peel one pad off the sheet, line it up where the frame meets your nose, and press firmly for ten seconds.

Step 3, 5 minutes

Give it five minutes

Let the adhesive set before you wear them. From then on, forget they're there. To remove: lift from the edge, peel, wipe. Nothing left behind.

Check your frames before you buy

Quick test: look at the inside of the bridge where the frame touches your nose. Is there a flat

plastic surface there? Then you're good.

✕  Thin wire and metal

Not this version

Frames with the little screw-in or push-in nose pads on metal arms: there's no surface for the pad to bond to. Wire frames? Email us and we'll tell you when the wire-frame version launches.

✓  Full-rim plastic and acetate

YES

Most everyday glasses, readers and sunglasses: any frame where the plastic itself rests on your nose. Also fine: thick "combination" frames with a plastic bridge, and sports sunglasses with a solid nose piece.

Not sure? Send a photo of your glasses to sepili.help@gmail.com and we'll tell you within 24 hours, before you spend a cent.

How long does a pair last?

Two to three weeks of daily wear. Sport, heat and very oily skin shorten that a little, which is why every pack is sized in months, not pairs.

When a pad starts to lose grip, peel it off and press on a fresh one. Ten seconds, and your glasses feel new again.

I'm really happy with these nose pads! The pack comes with plenty of pairs, which makes it a super affordable option compared to constantly replacing glasses or buying expensive accessories. I originally bought them because my glasses were leaving uncomfortable marks on my nose, and they completely solved that problem.

Questions people ask before buying

Will they damage my frames or lenses?

No. The adhesive bonds to the plastic of the bridge and peels off clean. It never touches the lenses. Thousands of customers use them on designer acetate frames.

Do they work on sunglasses?

Yes, on any full-rim plastic or acetate sunglasses. They're a favourite for sports sunglasses that slide the moment you start sweating.

Will they fit my kids' glasses?

Yes, as long as the frame is plastic or acetate. At 16 by 7 mm the pads fit children's frames.

What about wire or metal frames?

Not this version. Wire frames have nose pads on metal arms and no flat surface for the pad to bond to. Leave your email in the frame check section and we'll let you know when the wire-frame version launches.

How long does one pair last?

Two to three weeks with daily wear. Heat, sport and very oily skin shorten that a little. When one starts to lose grip, swap it for a fresh pair in ten seconds.

Do they leave residue when I remove them?

No. Lift from the edge, peel, and wipe the frame once. Nothing stays behind.

How fast is delivery?

Orders ship within one working day and arrive in 3 to 6 working days with tracking, in the US, Canada, Australia and the UK.

What if they don't work for me?

Email us within 60 days and we refund the order. You don't need to send anything back.

Why we made these

I'm an optician. For twenty-eight years people brought me glasses that weren't broken. They were just sliding down.

I tried every anti-slip pad on the market on my own frames. Gone by lunch, or two red dents by dinner, or a plaster stuck on the frame. The enemy turned out to be oil, not weight: a smooth pad on warm skin is a slick tyre on a wet road. Most brands answer with more adhesive, which is why the pads that hold are the ones that hurt.

We worked on the surface instead. 37 versions to get 0.6 mm right.

They won't work on thin wire frames. I'd rather you read that here than find out at home.
